Challenges
Public crime data is typically presented as tables and yearly reports, making long-term patterns difficult to interpret. The challenge was to transform two decades of data into a clear and readable visualization without overwhelming the viewer.
Objective
To create a visualization that makes long-term crime trends in Delhi easy to understand at a glance while revealing shifts and patterns over time.
Approach
Crime data was collected, cleaned, and structured to identify patterns across years. The visualization focuses on showing temporal change and overall trends while maintaining clarity.
